That sounds like an incredible boost in productivity for the guide and its information. You have my consent to work on that project here. Thank you for your contributions to the guide as well, anything you need in regards to help you just let me know.
The above stuff was by Phillip, who really needs to sign his shit to make things easier. Anyway, don't listen to Phillip. You don't need his consent to do anything, add whatever you want and if it's good then it'll stay as it is, if it's bad then it'll get edited and if it's just dumb then it'll be ignored. With regards to what you posted on his talk page, I don't think you need a separate page for it really. The details on which manufacturers help/don't and the information for support could go on the Manufacturers page, the details on what shops help could go on the List_of_shops, self-repair belongs on the Display_and_upkeep section. Country specific information right now is shoved in the Undervalue section, which probably needs to be renamed but that's for another time. Really though, do what you want since it's a community wiki. These are just the things I'd do if I was wanting to add that information. Also, feel free to use the To-do_list if you get bored. I think that as long as there's a decent amount of information on the defective page, then splitting it into two is fine. It would really only be a problem if we had two pages which were empty looking. This is probably why I want the information on the manufacturer page, right now it's very basic since I haven't worked on it much. Ideally I'll eventually get round to putting a list of positive and negatives for each manufacturer, with general comments about each so your defect page would be convenient as it would mean we could have a short line saying some basic shit like "Doesn't give replacements to foreigners" with it linking to the page.
Feel free to edit the shop page, like I said before; if it's good then it'll stay as it is, if it's bad then it'll get edited and if it's just dumb then it'll be ignored.
The display and upkeep page is on my list of stuff to be done, I think my comment on it was "Bad". It would be great if you could improve it since I feel it's one of the worst pages right now.
Ideally, the undervalue page would be named country guide or some shit and would have more information than just tax/undervalue info and loli/porn legality. Unfortunately that won't be the case for a long time, so putting NA/EU/etc info on the defect page is probably better.
In summary, do what you want, nobody will complain and if they do complain then tell them to edit it. Bell figs (talk) 01:16, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
